The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at Sigo Seguros. As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and maintaining our cutting-edge technology platform. You will work with a diverse team of engineers and collaborate closely with product managers to create innovative solutions that deliver exceptional user experiences. If you are passionate about leveraging JavaScript/TypeScript and have experience with the NestJS, NextJS, and React Native frameworks, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust web and mobile applications using JavaScript/TypeScript, NestJS, NextJS, and React Native.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Build RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend applications for seamless user interactions.
• Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, frameworks, and industry trends to continuously enhance our tech stack and development processes.
• Contribute to the planning, architecture, and implementation of new features and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to deploy and maintain applications on a Google Cloud Kubernetes Cluster.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in a competitive technology company or a hypergrowth venture-backed startup.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Experience with backend frameworks such as NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.
• Proficiency in frontend development using NextJS or similar frameworks.
• Experience with mobile app development using React Native or similar frameworks.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like Google Cloud and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
